Mail Message Size of Greater than 1.5 MB sent to External Domains(gamil/yahoo) result in SMTP Error.

Hi Carl Tyler,
Apologies for typo in my previous post,actually i set 'Maximum Message Size' to 10 MB. When i send mail within the domain having size more than 1.5 MB, it is being sent successfully.But mails sent to other domains result in bounce back email with an error message "SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 552 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size"
Please advice.
